Wow. I just read a couple negative reviews and I couldn’t disagree more.  Father & Son moved me on August 26th and they were AMAZING ! They showed up on time, promptly went over a question I had, and started the move. Fernando, Ricardo and Emelio went above and beyond. They were fast, efficient, careful, considerate and good-natured when i screwed up at the new house and told them to put a huge armoire in the living room and then wanted it moved to the bedroom.  Fernando even gave me advice on furniture placement at the new place and he was right!  I was worried about the marble tops on two antique pieces but they removed them, wrapped them, and carefully moved them. They did not break or scratch a single thing.  I was worried I had too much stuff for the truck but Fernando was a truck packing genius.  He made it work.  What’s more, i spent a little extra time at the old house after they drove off and they even called when they got to the new house to see where I was. Fernando said it wasn’t good for them to hang around waiting because they would lose steam.  These guys worked hard!  I can’t say enough good things. The move was flawless. Can’t recommend them enough!

This is the first moving company in my life that I would actually recommend to someone else. That’s saying a lot. They were on time, worked quickly and politely, and didn’t break anything. They cost much less that a flat rate mover, yet moved my entire house (with two trucks) in about 9 hours. Moving is a nightmare in and of itself; your moving company shouldn’t be. Try these guys.

great experience with this company.   we had a 2 part move with them.  first from LA to storage for a couple months, and then once we found a place on the east coast, they had our stuff moved across the country to our new place.  the local LA move/storage went without a hitch and they were very conscientious.  the cross-country part went fine with the exception that the driver contracted a couple local guys who weren’t very experienced and weren’t as great as the LA-based crew.  Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.  And the quote and the actual price were right on target.

This moving company is amazing. They moved me out of my 1300 sq ft 1 bed room with 2 flights of stairs in less than 5 hours.  All of my furniture was handled with care and they were extremely nice, professional, on time and have the best prices.  If you are looking for a GREAT moving company you need to call them!

Father and Son Movers are extremely professional, and I highly recommend them!  They went out of their way to give me top service in arranging my son’s move into an apartment on the 3rd floor!  It was a difficult move into an older building – and some of the larger pieces would not fit into the building elevator – so they carefully carried them up a couple of flights of stairs.  I was holding my breath – but each piece made it up with no damage.  They even helped us arrange the pieces where we wanted them.  The movers were fast, courteous, and the entire experience was very ‘stress free”.  Which is amazing – considering that moving usually stresses me out!  And, I work at Disney in Burbank – and they gave me their “Studio Discount” – which helped cut the cost!  All in all, a great experience with this company!
